DalLUX™  Stone & Tile Support System

Stone and tile add natural beauty and timeless elegance and is prized for its strength and durability. With the Daldorado DalLUX^TM  stone and tile support grate system, designers can take their decking to the next level by bringing the deck to the water’s edge for superior aesthetics and functionality.

For use on straight parallel pools only. 

DalLUX™ Stone/Tile Grate

• 12" wide supports and mitered corners
• Stone and tile are cut to size and adhered by a qualified tile installer to the flat surfaces of the support grate. They are also held in place horizontally by spacer lugs.
• Adhesive supplied
• Slot openings per of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16 for finger/toe entrapment guidelines max. 8 mm (0.315") openings
• Two parallel water fall-in options ~ either 4 slots or 5 for both tile & stone that feature 8 mm (0.315") openings
• Material selection for slip resistance qualities and colors specified by design professional
• Design engineered load capacity at over 5,000lbs (2,268 kg) for both tile & stone

Ceramic Tile Requirements / Specifications

• Slip-resistant (minimum 7 mm) 8 mm (0.315") ceramic tiles giving 4 or 5 x 8 mm (0.315") water flow opening
• Tile color/texture/slip-resistance qualities per designer’s specification
• Strength testing over 10 kN (2,200 lbs)

Stone Requirements / Specifications

• Maximum 2" thick (50.8mm) stone with liberal use of adhesive, 4 or 5 x 8 mm (0.315") water flow openings
• Stone color/texture must be suitable for use in swimming pools and taking into consideration water quality and water treatment. Natural stone should not be used with salt water pools, and be per designer’s specification.
• Stone psi must be over 5,000 (8,000 psi preferred)

General Information:

• For use on straight parallel pools only. 
• This stone/tile support series is not to be used in municipal swimming pools or pools with high levels of water overflow.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring that the tiles, manufactured or natural stone, are supplied, cut, chamfered, as well as bonded according to Daldorado installation instructions.
• Must be laid by a company that specializes in ceramic tile or stone
