Daldorado's DalMAX™ series of Sump and Grates for new construction are unblockable large area main drains (SOFA’s) safety tested and certified to ANSI/APSP/ICC 16-2017. The DalMAX™ frame and grates are molded with quality PVC materials tested to NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 2020.

Daldorado DalMAX™ series replacement Frame and Grates for 18”x 36”, 18”x 54”, 24"x 24" unblockable large area main drains are safety tested and certified to ANSI/APSP/ICC 16-2017 and are molded with quality PVC materials tested to NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 2020.

Daldorado manufactures, tests and certifies its ANSI/APSP/ICC 16-2017 Frame and Grates whether for new construction or replacement, to provide a 25-year service life. 

DalMAX™ main drain sumps for commercial pools are constructed of reinforced fiberglass with frame and grates made from the highest quality PVC materials tested to NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 2020 and are tested and certified as a SOFA to ANSI/APSP/ICC 16-2017. With a large open area of 62%, DalMAX™ is the clear choice for every new commercial pool construction or large area main drain replacement (frame and grate). Daldorado main drain sumps are provided a warranty for the life of the facility.

  • Can be customized to different piping schematics. Connections can be threaded, flanged or slip couplings. Specify outlet location.
  • FRP 3” water stop, 5” from edge of sump continuous around perimeter.
  • Recommended to use a 2" non-separation rope around the sump perimeter.
  • Shipped with removable internal strength support, which remains throughout construction.
  • 25 Year Service Life for all under VGB
