Perpendicular Grating

Perpendicular perimeter pool grating remains a very popular choice. Daldorado recommends perpendicular grating to be installed straight only for safety purposes, as when used for a radius the grate openings no-longer meet the requirements for finger and limb entrapment, where gap openings shall exceed 8mm.

Under NSF/ANSI/CAN-50 2020, ALL perimeter pool grating MUST be Tested and Certified for:

• UV Exposure in accordance with ATSM G154 for UV resistance and 70% strength requirements of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16
• Vertical load and deformation test of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16
• Pull load requirements of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16
• Finger and limb entrapment requirements of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16

Therefore by design Perpendicular Grate CAN NOT be used in a radius format.

Available in standard 12”, 14” and 16” widths. Hand holds and curb angles available for true ledge support (radius or straight). Easy and worry-free installation.

All corners are custom manufactured and strengthened for inside-outside corners per design requirements. Fully warranted by Daldorado for 10 years.
