From design concept to fabrication, the Daldorado perimeter swimming pool grating was engineered by a team of experts to meet or exceed USA and International Standards. All Daldorado grating is manufactured using only the highest-grade materials Tested and Certified to ANSI/NSF/CAN 50 2020 that covers the following critical elements for product quality:

  • UV Exposure in accordance with ATSM G154 for UV resistance and 70% strength requirements of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16
  • Vertical load and deformation test of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16
  • Pull load requirements of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16
  • Finger and limb entrapment requirements of Section 3 of ANSI/APSP-16

In addition, our products are also certified to ANSI/AS 3996 class A for covers and grates with loads exceeding 10kN (2,248lb), and to AS 4586-2013 Classification C Wet-Barefoot inclining platform (ramp) test for slip resistance up to a 24-degree slope.

Parallel Grating -Straight, Radius & Custom

Daldorado’s SILENTFlow™ commercial pool grating system is the most superior evolution in parallel grating— with features that surpass any other commercial grating currently sold in the USA. Our grating features the highest flow rate — with an unprecedented 40% open area and whisper quiet noise reduction.

Perpendicular Grating

Perpendicular perimeter pool grating remains a very popular choice. Daldorado recommends perpendicular grating to be installed straight only for Safety, as when used for a radius the grate openings NO-longer meet the requirements for finger and limb entrapment, where gap openings exceed 8mm.

Under NSF/ANSI/CAN-50 2020, ALL perimeter pool grating MUST be Certified for:

1.      Vertical and pull load (per APSP-16) and;

2.      Finger & Limb Entrapment (per APSP-16) as well as other required Safety / Risk measures.

Gutter Drop Out Grate (GOG)

Constructed of Daldorado parallel grate with high-grade PVC materials tested to NSF/ANSI/CAN 50 2020 that is UV stabilized, non-corrosive, non-magnetic and non-conductive. Our GOGrates are custom made with or without a frame and in custom sizes from 6 to 48-inches long and 6 to 16-inches wide.

Through state-of-the-art engineering and rigorous testing, Daldorado's grating features a powerful slip-resistant surface profile that is safety tested and certified to American Standards AS 4586-2013 Classification C Wet-Barefoot inclining platform (ramp) test for slip resistance factors in swimming pool surroundings, ramps and stairs leading to water, and communal shower and changing rooms.
