For over 25 years, Craig Bachner’s name has been synonymous with manufacturing. His ability to develop, transition and improve technical products and business processes are value-added skillsets, which are key to Daldorado’s future expansion and ongoing innovation of new products in the aquatics industry. And it is with that, we are proud to say that Craig is Daldorado’s Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Sustainability Director.

Craig’s extensive experience is broad and encompasses all aspects of manufacturing, including the highly technical and regulated manufacturing processes demanded by the DoD, FAA, FDA / cGMP & PPAP. To round out his resume, Craig held high-level corporate positions that include VP of Operations for a global medical product manufacturing company and President of a manufacturing and service company specializing in automotive safety products.

In 2005, Mr. Bachner took his leadership role one step further by becoming an entrepreneur, spending seven years residing in China where he offered new product design and development services. It is during this time where he met Rob Lawson who was changing the aquatics industry with Lawson Aquatics. Craig and Rob worked together to develop and bring new and innovative products to the market and,thereafter, both sold their businesses and went into semi-retirement. But then the world of manufacturing came calling and it was Rob Lawson at the other end of the line, only now it was under a new company called Daldorado. Rob convinced Craig to come out of retirement and once again become part of a team that would take Daldorado to the next level in aquatics excellence.

Craig received a BS from Tulane University and an MBA from Utah State, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Mr Bachner is also an accomplished author having written “Participation and Productivity”, as well as having been a key speaker at the APEX/IPC Presidents’ Council. Outside his career, Mr. Bachner enjoys renovating homes and is an enthusiast of AcroYoga, a physical practice that combines yoga and acrobatics.
